Rice Corpse and the Wired Lab | Tonight
Described as “a trumpet player trapped in a two dimensional universe” maverick musician Justice Yeldham’s (Rice Corpse) infamous show has astonished and bemused countless people in over 40 countries. Pursing his lips against amplified sheets of broken glass whilst deftly employing vocal techniques ranging from throat singing to raspberries, he turns discarded shards into crude musical instruments. Witness his wild array of cacophonous noise that prove both strangely controlled and oddly musical tonight at SuperDeluxe@Artspace
Also playing tonight The Wired Lab, a unique rural sound project that expands on Alan Lamb’s sonic investigations into an æolian instrument called The Wires. Consisting of strained fencing wire spanning hundreds of metres across open landscape the wires tap into a dynamic resonant universe of sounds. Don't miss your chance to hear Wired Lab members David Burraston & Garry Bradbury perform a live set of recent compositions derived from wire systems installed in regional NSW, tonight at SuperDeluxe@Artspace.
