Neo-wave disco rock from Japanese all girl trio nisennenmondai tonight

All-girl avant-rock trio nisennenmondai are bringing their post-punk, neo-wave/disco rock to Australia for the first time.

nisennenmondai (meaning ‘year 2000 problem’), are a wildly intense instrumental trio from Tokyo that formed in 1999. With massive sound, heavy on distortion, and infectious rhythms, the lovely nisennenmondai are best experienced live.

Also playing at SuperDeluxe@Artspace is Michael Morley visual artist and frontman of influential NZ noise band the Dead C.
