Film screening | I'm Chinese | directed by Shen Shaomin
Join us this afternoon at SuperDeluxe@Artspace for the screening of 17th Biennale of Sydney artist, Shen Shaomin's film I'm Chinese.
I'm Chinese is set in Hongjiang village on the Russian border. Hongjiang became a sanctuary for many Russians during the First and Second World War and the October Revolution. This feature-length movie deals with the lives of these refugees as they recount their trials and transitions of their culture, race and religion as transmigrants.
* No person under the age of 15 years shall be admitted to the Biennale Film Program screenings unless in the company of a parent or adult guardian.
