Seminal noise artist Hair Stylistics with Robin Fox | Tonight

Hair Stylistics is a multi-talented artist active as a musician, writer and painter. He has opened for the likes of Sonic Youth, Beck and John Spencer Blues Explosion in his native Japan. He recently finished a year long 'album a month' project that produced some of his best work and he'll be debuting some new sounds and dischordant noise sounds to SuperDeluxe@Artspace for our penultimate friday show.

Also performing tonight is Robin Fox a talented local audio visual artist, with his synchronator, which converts 3 channels of audio information into RGB video signal. Working with the equivalence of sound and image Fox’s work is always high impact with a high information density. The multiple projectors at Art Space will be given a serious workout as he weaves his alchemic, synaesthetic and totally unique take on the relationship between sound and light.
